A visit to Talgarth Mill for afternoon tea gave me a chance to see how our Big Lottery funded Village SOS community regeneration project was fairing two years after its completion and television launch on the Sarah Beeny's BBC1 show, Village SOS. It was good to see a busy cafe with people enjoying the river view through the open fully glazed sliding doors. A camera crew were filming the bakers at the bread oven for a show about baking and we joined a ladies WI group for a tour of the watermill. The river walk was especially lovely and we went away with a bag of flour that had been ground on the premises. A visit is highly recommended, especially for the cake.
